A ReyApps Original
Picture cards, custom vocabulary, and text-to-speech to help nonverbal and minimally-verbal children communicate — built for iPad, entirely offline.
For a child who can't yet speak — or can't always find the words — every conversation takes work. Existing AAC tools are often expensive, cloud-dependent, or built for clinicians first and kids second. BrainyTalk is different. It's a single, focused iPad app: symbol cards a child can tap to build a sentence and hear spoken aloud, a parent mode to manage vocabulary and settings, and nothing that ever leaves the device — no account, no cloud, no tracking.
About BrainyTalk
Not a generic symbol library — a communication board a parent can actually shape around their own kid's vocabulary, routines, and needs.
Tap symbol cards to build a sentence; BrainyTalk speaks it out loud in English or Spanish.
A dedicated Conversation board for greetings, yes/no, and quick replies to things like "How are you?"
Help, Bathroom, and Hurt are always one tap away, and always speak immediately.
Parents add their own photos, words, and categories — a child's own vocabulary, not a generic set.
Everything lives on the iPad. No account, no cloud — data never leaves the device.
High-contrast mode, adjustable card size, and full VoiceOver support, audited screen by screen.
Categories
A core row of everyday words stays on screen at all times, with topic boards underneath.
